The Philippines is a very beautiful country and since it is an archipelago, it is made up of many islands and its over a thousand number of islands are surrounded with beautiful seawater and rich biodiversity, creating a very ideal place to go swimming and scuba diving. Aside from having a very beautiful place in the pacific, the Philippines also have an interesting culture because it is a combination of the Spanish and American influence, who were both the conquerors of the place. When my mom decided that we spend our summer there last year, I was quite hesitant at first since I imagine the Philippines to be an underdeveloped country, where I can only see either beaches or mountain with coconut trees. I was amazed when we arrived in the Philippines because they have a quite good and clean airport and there were buildings and cars on the streets and the people there knew how to speak English pretty fairly. The moment we arrived in the house of my mom in Cebu, I was pleased of its location near the sea and I saw this beautiful girl in the neighborhood, who is about a year or two younger than me. My mom prepared dinner for Tita Sunshine and her family and when they arrived already, I saw that pretty girl and learned that she was the daughter of the best friend of my mom.   The filipino dating style is quite different compared to that in the US, so I asked my mom what are the dos and donts in dating a Filipina.
